One-Off Cleaning is recommended as the first visit for all new regular cleaning clients.
As this is our first visit to your home, additional time is usually required to thoroughly clean and prepare every surface to the standard needed for ongoing maintenance cleaning. For this reason, the initial visit is charged at our One-Off Cleaning (fully supplied service) rate of £21.99 per hour.
During the first visit, DustBustersPro provides all professional cleaning equipment, cloths and cleaning products.
After the initial clean, customers can choose one of the following options:
- Continue with our fully supplied service rate, where we provide all equipment and cleaning products for every visit.
- Or provide their own vacuum cleaner, mop, cloths and cleaning products. We will be happy to recommend suitable products and equipment if required.
Once the home has been brought up to our regular cleaning standard, ongoing Weekly Cleaning (£19.49/hour) or Fortnightly Cleaning (£19.99/hour) rates will apply.
Why is the first visit charged as a One-Off Cleaning?
We recommend that every new Regular Cleaning customer begin with an initial One-Off Cleaning visit.
This first appointment allows us to bring your home up to our regular maintenance standard while also becoming familiar with the property, your preferences and the areas that matter most to you.
During this visit, we thoroughly clean all accessible visible surfaces and create a personalised cleaning plan for future weekly or fortnightly visits. It also allows us to estimate how much time is realistically required to maintain your home to the standard you expect.
For example, a 3-bedroom house may require approximately 3 hours for a full weekly maintenance clean. If you choose to book 2 hours per visit instead, we will work to your priorities within the available time.
This means that every visit will focus on the areas most important to you, such as the kitchen, bathrooms and main living areas. Secondary rooms or lower-priority areas may be rotated between visits to ensure that the entire property receives regular attention over time.
If you request additional tasks during a visit—such as ironing, interior window cleaning, changing bed linen, organising cupboards or other extra services—these will be completed within your booked time. As a result, less time may be available for routine cleaning in other parts of the property.
For customers working within a fixed budget, we are always happy to tailor our service around your priorities. However, please note that when the booked cleaning time is shorter than the time recommended for the size and condition of your home, it may not be possible to clean every room or complete every task during each visit.
